How We Got Growing

  • Andy knighted for his services for farming, the Chevalier L'order Merite de Agricole.

    2018

    Wildfarmed flour launches into first bakery in the UK, into the highly-acclaimed Jolene.

  • Andy Cato,

    co-founder awarded National Trust tenancy in the Cotswolds.

    2022

    Wholesale flour business launches with twenty farms and twenty customers.

  • Barley enters into our rotation.

    2022

    Four co-branded loaves launch with Marks and Spencer. Over two hundred and fifty customers now using Wildfarmed.

  • Appeared on Clarksons Farm [Series 3] Oats now also now in our growers rotation.

    2024

    Launched our first supermarket-ready own brand at Waitrose. Appeared on Clarksons Farm [Series 3] Oats now in our rotation.

  • 2025

    Launched our own brand loaves into Tesco and Ocado. Wildfarmed oats, barley and wheat now being used by over 1,000 customers including Shake Shack, Nandos, Zizzi, Jubel and Tribe.

Sometimes weird combos win. We know that from nature. The first Wildfarmed seed may have been sown by Andy but together with George and Edd that seed has grown into a community ready for change. Ready for anything.

    Possibly an unlikely combo, but Andy is both an award-winning farmer and an award-winning musician. Andy’s shift from making music and DJ-ing to regenerative agriculture has brought a fresh perspective to the industry. What started out as a personal quest for self-sufficiency has developed into a deep commitment to scaling regenerative farming. You’ll find him giving the keynote at Groundswell one day, headlining at Glastonbury the next.

  • Edd lees Co-Founder

    With over twenty years’ experience in financial markets, in 2018 Edd transitioned from this career to join George and Andy in founding Wildfarmed. Edd is committed to scaling nature-friendly farming and helping to rebuild connections within the food system.

    After spending the first half of his career working in the entertainment industry, George began a new chapter in 2012 determined to make a positive and meaningful impact on society. He is passionate about improving people’s understanding and connection with the food system.
